Now this really IS a special dress! This 1970's dress is part of the Brigitte Bardot collaboration collection which she did with the label Real Paris. Kinda like a 70's version of when Kate Moss did a collection with TopShop! It's a rare little find and there are not many to be found these days. Bardot's beloved home in Saint Tropez was called La Madrague (which means 'The Trap' in French btw), it was her sanctuary ever since she bought it in 1958. Real Paris was one of Bardot's favourite boutiques and this dress is part of the collection Real Paris did using the names Brigitte Bardot and La Madrague. It was designed to epitomise the laid back, carefree, but effortlessly sexy life and style of Bardot when she was at her St Tropez home.
I have included here a photo of Bardot in the boutique in 1959, and one of her at home in La Madrague in the 1970's....would ya look at that lush interior styling!!
