This is a particularly beautiful early 1950's wool skirt suit by HEBE SPORTS; a highly collectible label who made clothes for The Queeeeen, no less! The label is such a highly regarded part of British fashion history that the Victoria and Albert Museum have an example in their collection! Sublime quality and tailoring, this suit has the infamous New Look silhouette established by Dior in the late 40's, with nipped in waist, strong shoulders and exaggerated hips. A boucle wool in brown and duck egg blue, this suit comprises of a stunning jacket with button-up front, elegant lapels and pinched waist, and a gorgeous silk crepe lining. The skirt has a flat waist, side metal zip and kick pleats all around. The suit is sensational, just perfect for smart occasions, work, vintage events or worn seperately too.
